2007 NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Results

The University of Chicago went 14-0 and defeated the University of Illinois in the final to claim the 2007 NAQT ICT Division I overall title. This is Chicago's fifth overall title and, including their 2005 Division II crown, keeps alive their remarkable streak of winning an ICT championship in every odd-numbered year. The University of Michigan defeated Virginia Commonwealth in a playoff game to take third place.

In the Undergraduate competition, Carleton College finished fifth overall and defeated Harvard University in the final to claim their second UG title after an eight-year drought. Three-fourths of Harvard's team finished as runners-up for the second consecutive year, following their Division II run last year. Harding University finished claimed the third-place trophy, with Amherst placing fourth and Caltech and Florida State tying for fifth place.

In Division II, the University of Maryland-College Park knocked off Dartmouth College in the final to claim their first ICT title of any kind. This is the second NAQT national championship in a row for Maryland star Chris Ray, as he led the Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) team to the high school national championship last spring. Yale University went 10-3 to claim third place and Chicago, Drake, and Harvard shared fourth-place honors.

In the Community College division, Valencia (FL) Community College returned to the top spot by finishing in a tie for 15th overall and defeating Gulf Coast (FL) Community College in the final. This is the fourth Community College championship for Valencia, who previously won three straight titles from 2002-04. Valencia's "B" team nearly made the final as well, but a playoff loss to Gulf Coast relegated them to third place. Snead State (AL) and Chipola (FL) rounded out the top five.
