High School National Championship Tournament

The High School National Championship Tournament (HSNCT) is NAQT's premier high school event. The tournament is held at the end of each school year and features the top quiz bowl teams from across the United States (and, increasingly, the world).

Teams qualify for the HSNCT by their performance at tournaments held throughout the year using questions supplied by NAQT. A list of upcoming events may be found on NAQT's website.

In addition to recognizing the overall winner as the NAQT High School Champion, the highest-finishing public high school with 500 or fewer students and a non-selective admission policy will be honored as the Top Small School.

The 2009 HSNCT will be held at Chicago's Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel on May 29-31, 2009.
