2009 HSNCT Registration

The 192-team tournament field is now full (or reserved for state champions); further registrations will be placed on a waitlist. Teams that have already registered and have a space in the field may use the form to update their information. If a team drops from the field, waitlisted teams will be invited in the order that they signed up. Please note that NAQT expects more spots to open up (since state championships will often be won by teams that have already qualified). There is no commitment involved in joining the waitlist and NAQT strongly encourages interested teams to do so. Historically, every team that has signed up for the waitlist has eventually received an invitation though, of course, there is no guarantee that this will be the case.

If more than one team from the same school is attending, please fill out a separate form for each team and append A or B to the School Name.

We are a public school with fewer than 500 students in grades 10-12 and a non-selective admission policy.
(Such schools are eligible for the Top Small School award.)

Choosing a T-shirt size will cause NAQT to order the official tournament T-shirt for that player at an additional cost of $15. This year's shirt should be similar to last year's style and will incorporate the 2009 tournament logo. These T-shirts may be picked up at the tournament. You are free to choose "none" if you do not want T-shirts. More garments are available at the NAQT CafePress store.

You may change your roster at any point (up to and including tournament check-in), but registering now, even with just a tentative roster, makes your acceptance official (and therefore potentially subject to cancellation penalties).

How many buzzer systems is your team bringing?

NAQT recommends that teams stay in the official hotel, the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, where a group rate has been negotiated ($109 per quadruple-occupancy room-night) and they will have easy access to the tournament itself, game rooms, and other competitors.
