Intercollegiate Championship Tournament

NAQT’s Intercollegiate Championship Tournament (ICT) is the premier quiz bowl tournament at the collegiate level and its titles are coveted by hundreds of schools and thousands of players throughout North America and the United Kingdom.

NAQT invites the best schools from its nationwide qualifying events to the ICT for the year’s most competitive weekend of intercollegiate quiz bowl.

The 2015 ICT will be held on Saturday, March 28, at the Atlanta Hilton. Teams can qualify for that championship through their performance at the 2015 Sectional Championship Tournaments.

The 2014 ICT was held on March 29 near Chicago following qualifying Sectional Championship Tournaments at institutions across the nation in February. The Division I title was won by Virginia, the Division II title by Harvard, the Division I Undergraduate title by Yale, and the Top Community College award by Valencia A.

NAQT awards several titles at the ICT, including the Overall Championship, Undergraduate Championship, and Division II Championship, as well as a Top Community College Award. Eligibility for the Undergraduate, Division II, and Community College titles is determined by school classification, player year, and quiz bowl experience.
