The North Division of the 2010-11 Minnesota High School Quiz Bowl league will play its games at Armstrong High School. The school's address is:
Armstrong High School
10635 36th Ave North
Plymouth, MN 55441
This link will take you to Google's map of the location which may be scrolled and panned.
The host school contact is Armstrong's quiz bowl coach, Matt Quinn.
This pool will compete on these three Thursdays: December 2, January 13, and February 10.
Note that the first night of games was initially scheduled for October 28, but those were cancelled on account of a power outage at Armstrong High School (and rescheduled for February 10).
Both buses and cars should park in the main lot off 36th avenue.
The first game begins at 6:00. The last game is scheduled to end at 8:30. Teams should plan to arrive by 5:45 so they can take in any last-minute announcements. Teams that have not arrived by 6:15 will begin forfeiting their matches.
Enter through the main entrance. The initial meeting will be in the cafeteria, which is on the lower level and a ways back into the building. Luckily, signs will be posted to direct you there. Should they fail, look for somebody carrying a buzzer and follow him or her.
The Armstrong cafeteria will not be selling any food, though vending machines are available. Potential delivery options include Papa John's (763.593.0780) and Jimmy John's (763.231.0270).
Teams have not yet chosen the divisions in which they plan to play.
The February 10 pairings (PDF) have been released.
