Buzzer Discount is given to the school for each buzzer system made available for AQA's use at the tournament, whether it's used or not. Buzzers must be in good, working condition.
Teams are expected to bring at least one person who can read or scorekeep. If AQA utilizes that person, your school will receive a 5 dollar discount. Additional provided staffers will not receive a discount unless otherwise discussed. (Contact bunnie@azquizbowl.org with questions).
New Schools are defined as any school that has not participated in an AQA event the previous season, and has not attended NAQT, PACE, QU, NHBB, or other national quizbowl tournaments in the past 3 years.
Teams coming from 30 miles away or greater from ASU's Tempe Campus may claim a 5 dollar discount per team. Teams coming from out of state may claim an additional 5 dollar discount per team for a total of 10 dollars per team.
Early Registration discounts are available for teams that register 14 days (two weeks) before the tournament deadline.
Cancellation may be made free of charge for extenuating circumstances, but is otherwise 30 USD per team after the 5-day grade period. Teams cancelling on or after the registration deadline itself are expected to pay the full amount of the registration fee unless otherwise discussed.

This tournament has a minimum fee of $50.00 per team.
Teams’ rosters must be finalized by Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
