Furthermore, each tournament is subject to a penalty of $200 if it fails to submit results and coach contact information in accordance with NAQT’s guidelines within two weeks of the end of the tournament. The fee is generally halved if the data are submitted later than that two-week period but otherwise satisfactorily.
There is a rush fee of $50 for events for which questions are requested less than 10 days in advance.
For question sets priced on a per-team basis, in rare circumstances, it may be necessary for hosts to “share” sets or otherwise receive less than a full set (by their agreement). In this case, the base fee remains as listed, while the per-team fee is pro-rated based on the number of packets the host actually receives. This arrangement is only for special circumstances; it is not generally permitted for a host to pay a lower per-team fee based on using less than a full set.
These prices are general guidelines. NAQT reserves the right to agree to different pricing for specific events. All prices are in United States dollars.
