Middle School National Championship Tournament
The Middle School National Championship Tournament (MSNCT) is NAQT’s premier middle school event. The tournament is held near the end of each school year and features the top quiz bowl teams from across the United States.
Teams qualify for the MSNCT by their performance at tournaments held throughout the year using questions supplied by NAQT. A list of upcoming events may be found on NAQT’s website.
The 2023 MSNCT was held on May 12–14 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago). W. L. Chenery Middle School (Belmont, Massachusetts) was the champion out of 160 teams.
The 2024 MSNCT will be May 10–12 (Mother’s Day weekend) at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago).
