The Intercollegiate Championship Tournament (ICT) is the premier quiz bowl tournament at the collegiate level and its titles are coveted by hundreds of schools and thousands of players throughout North America and the United Kingdom.

NAQT invites the best schools from its nationwide qualifying events to the ICT for the year’s most competitive weekend of intercollegiate quiz bowl.

NAQT awards several titles at the ICT, including the Division I Overall Championship, Division I Undergraduate Championship, and Division II Championship.

The 2019 ICT, powered by LetterOne, was held on Saturday, April 6, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago). Teams qualified for it through their performances at the 2019 Sectional Championship Tournaments, which were held across the country on the weekends of February 9 and 16. Yale University’s A team won the Division I title for the second year in a row, the University of Maryland’s B team won the Division II title, and Michigan State University won the Division I Undergraduate title.

The 2020 ICT will be held on Saturday, April 4 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. The qualifying 2019 Sectional Championship Tournaments will be held in February. Community college teams may also qualify by finishing well at the 2020 Community College Championship Tournament.
