Individual Player National Championship Tournament
Quiz bowl is usually a team game, but the Individual Player National Championship Tournament (IPNCT) welcomes individual players to see how their knowledge, reflexes, and anticipation stack up against those of other elite competitors.
There are separate divisions for high school players (grades 9–12) and middle school players (grades 8 and below). All students are eligible to compete at the IPNCT, and no prior qualification is required.
The 2021 High School IPNCT was held on Sunday, April 11, online. The winner was Arthur Delot-Vilain of Georgetown Day School (Washington, D.C.).
The 2021 Middle School IPNCT was held on Sunday, April 25, online. The winner was Arin Parsa of Stanford Online High School (Redwood City, California).
The 2022 IPNCT will be held on Sunday, April 3 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago).
