Individual Player National Championship Tournament
Quiz bowl is usually a team game, but the Individual Player National Championship Tournament (IPNCT) welcomes individual players to see how their knowledge, reflexes, and anticipation stack up against those of other elite competitors.
The tournament is intended for high school players, but ambitious middle school players are welcome too. No prior qualification is required. (In 2019, 2021, and 2022 a separate Middle School Division was offered.)
The 2027 IPNCT will be Sunday, April 4 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.
The 2026 IPNCT was won by Spencer Manning of Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, Illinois). It was held on Sunday, April 12 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.
