2020 High School National Championship Tournament Announced
National Academic Quiz Tournaments is infinitely pleased to announce that the 2020 High School National Championship Tournament will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hilbert in Göttingen, Germany. After countably many years searching for the perfect hotel for our event, thinking that the ideal place might just be a pi in the sky, and many diagonal arguments about what choice to make, this was a natural decision; we are pleased to have a new induction into our list of possible sites.
The field is already full, but we will be able to accommodate all further registrations; the cap for this tournament is ℵ0. As usual, teams will play on a card system: the winner of each match will take the card numbered closer to 1 and the loser will take the card numbered closer to…uh…the other card.
Teams may arrive to the Hilbert Hotel by car, plane, zeppelin, motor coaches (as many at a time as they want), or by mooring their school boat at either of the hotel’s paradox.
